Set a big frying pan on the stove over medium-high heat. Break the ground beef and sausage into the pan and toss in the onions. Sauté everything for around 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the meat is fully browned and cooked through. Remove any leftover fat, then move the cooked meat into your slow cooker.
It tasted wonderful.
It was fine, just not incredible. You could also swap in Food Lion Cream of Jalapeno soup as an alternative.
This was fantastic and incredibly simple! This will likely be my standard queso recipe from now on. I really appreciate that it doesn't get overly stiff while sitting out like other slow-cooker queso variations. It kept a perfect texture for hours during our party.
